Pune: PMRDA Submits Preliminary Plan For Work On Plot In Wadachiwadi To State Government
Hadapsar, 1st February 2023: The suggested preliminary plan for 134.79 hectares at Wadachiwadi in Taluka Haveli has been submitted to the Maharashtra government on behalf of the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA). In the urban planning scheme, approximately 1,700 tenant farmers who own 131.84 hectares of land and 2.95 hectares of drainage area are included.
Of these, 148 developed final plots with a 50% area have been made available to beneficiary farmers, and 11.72 have been designated for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Housing Scheme. There are nine hectares of reserved land.
In addition to civic facilities like a primary health centre, hospital, cultural centre, vegetable centre, fire station, crematorium, sub-station, sewage treatment centre, bus stop, shopping centre, and others, this plan area includes about 19.22% area (25.33 Hectare) that is taken up by a ring road (9.83 Hectare) and internal roads (15.50 Hectare), seven plots for grounds, 11 plots for gardens, eight plots for kindergarten, and others.
The space needed for a 1.5 km road with a 65 m width will be taken over from this town development plan by about 9.83 hectares.
