Pune Police Appeal People To Return Home Before 6.30 PM

Pune, 9th June 2021: Pune police commissioner Amitabh Gupta has said that an E-pass is not required to travel if a person is travelling from level 1 to level-4 category districts. E-pass is only mandatory for travelling through a level-5 district even if a person does not take a halt there.

The restriction on the movement till 5 pm is also being changed to 6.30 pm instead. The decision came to reduce the heavy traffic jams in the evening hour. As most of the people are on the way home the traffic is very intense and to ease the traffic jams the decision has been taken.

According to the new guidelines, all shops, offices can only remain open till 4 pm and at least one hour will be needed for the commuters to reach home. Therefore the restriction on movement is also being changed. Earlier the restriction on the movement was till 5 pm which has been changed to 6.30 pm.
