Pune Police Commissionerate Witnesses Shakeup in Leadership, Three DCPs Transferred

Pune, 6th December 2023: Three deputy commissioners of police (DCP) have undergone transfers, marking a significant shift in leadership in the Pune police commissionerate.

R Raja, formerly DCP of the Special Branch, has been reassigned to the crucial role of DCP for Zone V. Simultaneously, Vikrant Deshmukh, who previously held the position of DCP for Zone V, has been appointed as the new head of the Economic Offences Wing (EOW).

Meanwhile, DCP Sambhaji Kadam, recently transferred to the Pune Police, has assumed the responsibility of the Special Branch until further orders.

The directive for these transfers came from Police Commissioner Retesh Kumaarr on Tuesday night.
