Pune: 16-Year-Old Boy Dies As Air Compressor Prank Turns Fatal, Accused Youth Arrested
Hadapsar, 6th December 2023: In a horrifying incident that unfolded in the industrial estate of Hadapsar on Monday afternoon, a 16-year-old boy lost his life after a dangerous prank went wrong. A minor boy working in a food processing company had an air compressor piped up his anus to fill his body with air. The minor died on the spot due to this unfortunate incident.
The victim, identified as Motilal Sahu, was an employee at Poona Flour and Foods in Hadapsar Industrial Area. The Hadapsar Police swiftly intervened, arresting the accused, Dheeraj Singh Gopal Singh Goud (21), who was allegedly involved in the fatal prank.
The incident occurred around 10:30 on Monday at the Poona Flour and Foods company premises on the third floor. The victim, Motilal Sahu, was subjected to a perilous prank involving an air compressor that led to his untimely death on the spot.
The Hadapsar Police, responding promptly to the distressing situation, arrested Goud. A formal complaint was filed by Shankardin Ramdin Sahu (34), a relative of both the victim and the accused. The complaint details the circumstances surrounding the incident and calls for a thorough investigation into the tragic death of Motilal Sahu.
According to police reports, the accused Shankardin and his nephew Motilal, along with Dheeraj Singh, were all working in the Hadapsar Industrial Area. The incident occurred during what initially appeared to be a harmless moment of joking among the colleagues.
