Pune Police Gets Modern Control Room For 112 Helpline, 157 Police Vehicles For Quick Response

Pune, 29th June 2022: To provide immediate police assistance in case of emergency, ‘112’ toll-free helpline service has been made available in the state of Maharashtra. The Police Control Room at the Commissionerate of Police was inaugurated by Commissioner of Police Amitabh Gupta on Monday (June 27).

Joint Commissioner of Police Sandeep Karnik, Additional Commissioner of Police Dr Jalindar Supekar, Ramnath Pokale, Deputy Commissioner Srinivas Ghadge, Bhagyashree Navatke, R. Raja, Assistant Commissioner Pournima Taware, Sanjay Khande, Gajanan Tompe, S. M. Bhalchim, etc. was present at this time.

Under this project, the MDT system has been installed on 157 vehicles of the police department to provide immediate assistance to the citizens. The Control Room of the Pune Police Commissionerate has been renovated. Police assistance will be provided immediately to address the complaints of the citizens, said Police Commissioner Gupta.
