Pune Police Ranks Second Best Unit In 2021

Pune, 14th January 2023: Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today chaired a conference of Maharashtra’s Senior Police Officers on Crime and Law and Order in the State, this morning, in Pune. DGP Rajnish Seth, ACS (Home), Mumbai CP and Senior IPS officers from all over Maharashtra were present.

Fadnavis tweeted, “Took current scenario reviews, analysed, discussed and decided on future strategies and plans.

It included crime trend and crime analysis on offences against body, against property, crime against women, cyber crimes, economic offences, drugs abuse.

New technologies, methodologies for investigation and speedy detection, much needed steps and efforts on increasing the conviction rate, special focus on curbing menace of drug abuse, sharing and adopting best practices was also deliberated upon.

Maharashtra Police is one of the best police forces and I’m confident that it will catch up with the changing times and achieve the goals set collectively for the society’s peace and harmony, thereby leading to better progress of Maharashtra.

On this occasion, honoured the achiever police officers for various achievements & their remarkable work in maintaining law and order in their jusrisdiction, good crime conviction rate, arresting criminals and cracking crimes using modern techniques and technologies.
