Pune Police Reached Doctor Couple’s Home To Surprise Them With Cake On Their Wedding Anniversary
Pune, 18th May 2021: A doctor couple from Aundh were surprised to receive a cake on their anniversary from Pune Police. The couple had their wedding anniversary on Saturday and due to heavy working hours, the couple got no time to celebrate and had no time to shop or plan for their special day due to the lockdown.
However, the doctor made a post on Pune Police Twitter handle writing, “Sir, it is our wedding anniversary and the shops are closed. Can’t even go out to get a cake. We are both doctors and we are at work on our wedding anniversary. Saying he wanted to gift his wife something special, adding that he is not able to think of a better gift for his wife. He directly appealed to the Commissioner of Police Amitabh Gupta.
In response to that tweet on Saturday at 8.30 in the morning, the bell rang, when the door opened, it was police personnel with a cake box, wishing the couple a very happy anniversary! By seeing such a surprise gift from the police, the doctor couple felt emotional!
The couple thanked the Commissioner of Police and the staff.
