Pune Police Recover Stolen KTM Bike, Activa And Autorickshaw From Notorious Vehicle Thief

Shukrawar Peth, 27th January 2022: The officials from the Khadak police station under Pune city police have arrested a notorious vehicle thief and recovered two bikes and an autorickshaw from his possession.

Police have identified the arrested accused as Vinayak Bharat Koli (26) of  Lohianagar. There are already robbery cases registered against him at Khadak and Dehurod police stations.

Senior Inspector Shrihari Bahirat, in-charge of Khadak police station, had instructed his team to be alert and nab the accused stealing vehicles in the area. While investigating the theft cases, policemen Ravi Lokhande and Sandeep Talekar received information about Koli. Accordingly, a trap was laid a trap and he was caught on Friday.

“A rickshaw and two two-wheelers totally worth Rs 2.05 lakh were seized from him”, informed Inspector Bahirat.

Further investigation is going under the guidance of Additional Commissioner of Police Rajendra Dahale, Deputy Commissioner of Police Vivek Patil and ACP Satish Govekar.

The includes Inspector Harshvardhan Gade, PSI Rahul Khandale, Shankar Kumbhare and police personnel Aziz Baig, Sandip Patil, Sandip Talekar, Ravi Lokhande, Vishal Jadhav, Rahul More, Himmat Holkar, Sagar Ghadge, Nitin Jadhav, Praveen Gavhane, Kiran Shitole and Mahendra Pawar.
