Pune Police Return Stolen Valuables Worth Rs 2.31 Crore To Complainants

Pune, 1st April 2024: In a significant gesture aimed at restoring public trust and fostering transparency, the police stations under the jurisdiction of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone-1, Pune, returned seized valuables worth Rs 2,31,54,489 to their rightful owners today.

A ceremony was organized at the Cops Excellence Hall, Police Commissioner’s Office, Pune, where the valuables, including cash, laptops, mobile phones, two-wheelers, and three-wheelers, were handed over to the complainants.

The event witnessed the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including Pravin Pawar, Joint Commissioner of Police, Pune City; Pravin Kumar Patil, Additional Commissioner of Police (West Region); Shailesh Balkawade, Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime); and DCP (Zone 1) Sandeep Singh Gill.
