Pune Police Seize 2 KG Gold, 25 KG Silver Ornaments From TET Scam Accused Ashwin Kumar’s House In Bengaluru

Pune, 25th December 2021: Pune Police have recovered about 2 kg of gold and 25 kg of silver jewellery from GA Software Technologies Private Limited’s former manager Ashwin Kumar (49) of Bengaluru, an accused in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) scam.

The software company was given the contract of conducting recruitment exams for various government departments.

Police had earlier arrested the director of the company Dr Pritish Deshmukh as well as Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE) Commissioner Tukaram Supe.

According to police, after getting information about ornaments at accused Ashwin Kumar’s house. A team from the cyber police station raided his house in Bengaluru and seized the jewellery. Till now, police have seized Rs 3.9 crore from Supe.

The action investigation is being carried out under the guidance of Commissioner of Police Amitabh Gupta, Additional Commissioner Ramnath Pokale, DCP (EOW & Cyber Crime) Bhagyashri Navatke and ACP Vijay Kumar Palsule.

The team includes Senior Police Inspector Dagdu Hake, Inspectors Meenal Patil, Kumar Ghadge, Ankush Chintaman, Ajay Waghmare, Assistant Police Inspector Balbhim Nanvare, Police Sub Inspectors Anil Daffal, Ravindra Gawari, Amol Waghmare and their staff.
