Pune Police To Prepare Action Plan For Prevention Of Accidents In Navale Bridge Area

Narhe, 22nd November 2022: In the wake of the accidents on the Navale bridge on the Pune-Bangalore highway, the Police Commissioner will prepare plan for prevention of accidents.

 

Apart from that, police commissioner Amitabh Gupta informed in a press conference that priority will be given to reducing accidents in the area. The meeting held at the Police Commissionerate was attended by other officials of the National Highways Department and Transport Department.

Various measures were taken at Navale Bridge to prevent accidents. Against this backdrop, the number of accidents had reduced in the last six months. However, 10 people were injured in the horrific accident that took place on Sunday. Therefore, a new plan will be prepared to reduce accidents in the area.

 

Accordingly, a joint inspection will be conducted by the Police Commissioner, Municipal Commissioner, Transport Department, and National Highways Authority of India. Installation of speed guns, rumblers, yellow stripes, notice boards and other necessary measures will be taken.
