Pune: Polytechnic Examination Will Also Be Conducted In Marathi Language: Chandrakant Patil
Pune, 15th October 2022: The Polytechnic examination will also be conducted in the Marathi language now. Higher and Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Patil said that all books on technical education and engineering will be made available in the Marathi language to impart education through the mother tongue.
There are about 27,000 villages with gram panchayats in the state. Patil also announced that a library will be started in each of these villages.
Patil said, 12,000 villages have libraries in the state while about 27,000 villages have gram panchayats. 43,000 villages have Wadas. Instructions have been given to the Directorate of Libraries to set a target that at least a ‘D’ class library should be started in every village having Gram Panchayat. They will be given a ‘D’ class subsidy from day one.
