Pune Porsche Crash Case: Viral Video of Vishal Agarwal Family Dancing After Bail Sparks Fresh Outrage
Pune, 27th May 2026: Fresh controversy has erupted around the Pune Porsche crash case after a video purportedly showing businessman Vishal Agarwal and his family celebrating surfaced on social media and quickly went viral.
The clip, which has not been independently verified by authorities, allegedly shows Agarwal and his wife dancing while wearing garlands made of currency notes shortly after he secured bail in the case. Family members are also seen dancing to the Bollywood song “Mumbai Se Aaya Mera Dost, Doston Salaam Karo…”, prompting widespread criticism online.
The viral footage has triggered outrage among social media users, many of whom accused the family of displaying insensitivity despite the deaths of two young IT professionals, Aneesh Awadhiya and Ashwini Koshta, in the fatal crash that shook Pune and drew national attention.
The incident dates back to May 19, 2024, when a speeding Porsche driven by a minor crashed into a motorcycle in Pune’s Kalyani Nagar area, killing two software engineers on the spot. The case became a national flashpoint after the juvenile accused was granted bail within hours of the accident.
As the investigation progressed, the matter expanded into a larger controversy involving allegations of blood sample manipulation, destruction of evidence, irregularities at Sassoon General Hospital, and suspected political interference. Vishal Agarwal, the father of the juvenile accused, was later arrested along with several others during the probe.
The Supreme Court had granted him bail a few months ago.
Following the circulation of the latest video, public anger has resurfaced, with several users on social media questioning whether an ordinary citizen would have received similar treatment in such a case. Others alleged that the video reflected a lack of accountability and disregard for the seriousness of the incident.
