Pune: Power Outage at Ravet Pumping Station Disrupts Water Supply in Pimpri Chinchwad
Pimpri Chinchwad, 7th July 2026: Water supply to parts of Pimpri Chinchwad was disrupted on Tuesday after a power outage at the Ravet water pumping station temporarily halted water lifting operations, the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) said.
The disruption also forced the suspension of pumping operations at the Sector 23 Water Treatment Plant.
According to the civic body’s water supply department, water pumping will resume once electricity is restored at the Ravet pumping station. Following this, water supply will be restored in a phased manner across the affected areas.
The PCMC has appealed to residents to use the available water sparingly until normal supply is restored.
