Pune: President Of Vishrantwadi Block Congress Found Dead, Police Suspect Suicide
Lohegaon, 24th May 2023: A 49-year-old Congress party leader was dead yesterday evening at the office of a credit society on Porwal Road, Lohegaon, Pune. Police suspect it to be a case of suicide.
The deceased has been identified as Vikas Shivaji Tingre, resident of Porwal Road. Tingre, who held the position of President of Vishrantwadi Block Congress, was found hanging himself in the office of a credit society on Porwal Road around 6 pm on Tuesday.
Upon receiving the information, the police immediately reached the spot and the body of Tingre was transferred to Sassoon Hospital for post-mortem examination.
Police are investigating the case.
