Pune: Private Passenger Transport Agents Give Death Threats To ST Controller, Case Registered Against Four

Pune, 24th Pune 2022: An incident took place on October 23 around 11.30 am at the Swargate ST station where four men entered the ST passenger controller’s cabin and threatened to kill him.
As the controller bewared the passengers of private transport agents, the four became enraged and threatened him.

 

The names of the accused are Kishore Nagtilak, Vishal Rathi, Pawar, and Kumar Niwamb. Namdev Balasaheb Karle (52), a resident of Katraj has lodged a complaint at the Swargate police station.

 

According to the information given by the police, Namdev is working in ST Corporation and on Sunday, he was giving instructions to passengers at Swargate station like Beware of pickpockets, beware of private passenger transport agents.

 

Enraged by him, private passenger transport agents Nagtilak, Rathi, Pawar and Niwamb beat him up. Apart from that, they abused him and senior officer Jadhav and threatened to kill them. Police sub-inspector Jagtap is investigating the matter further.
