Pune: Private Vehicles Not Allowed On Sinhgad Fort From May 1, Now Pay Rs 100 Fare For PMPML E-Bus

Pune, 30th April 2022: Keeping in mind the environmental degradation and traffic jam due to rising private vehicles on the historic Sinhgad Fort, located 25 km from Pune city, the forest department has banned entry of private vehicles from May 1 (tomorrow).
On Sunday, e-buses of Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) will be inaugurated and they will start service for passengers (tourists) from Monday (May 2), informed Rahul Patil, Deputy Conservator of Forests (DCF), Pune.
Buses Schedule (Monday to Sunday)
Hours: 6 am to 7 pm (as needed) (fixed frequency not decided yet) from the parking lot to Sinhgad Fort and return
Fares
For children 3-12 years old : Rs 25 (one way)
For those above 12 years old : Rs 50 (one way)
Parking fee at Donje parking area
Four wheeler parking: Rs 20
Two-wheeler parking: Rs 10
