Pune: Prostitution At Spa Centre In Viman Nagar Busted, Four Women Rescued

Viman Nagar, 12th January 2024: In a significant operation, the Pune Vimantal Police Station successfully busted an illegal prostitution business operating under the guise of a spa centre.

The crackdown resulted in the rescue of four female victims, aged between 25 and 30, from the premises. The illicit activities were concealed behind the façade of Shanti spa centre situated in the East Court Building in Viman Nagar.

Satish Saknure (32) from Latur, the owner of the spa, and Roshni Suresh Patil (34) from Wagholi, the spa manager, have been identified as the main accused in the case. A complaint was filed by Police Sub-Inspector Samu Chaudhary (34), detailing the illegal activities taking place within the spa premises.

During the raid, law enforcement rescued four female victims, all aged between 25 and 30, who were being exploited in the illegal prostitution business.

The police received information about the unlawful activities at the spa centre located in Viman Nagar, leading to a targeted raid on Wednesday. Investigations revealed that the accused were involved in procuring prostitution services from the victimized women, exploiting their circumstances for financial gain.
