Pune: Prostitution Racket Busted At Massage Center In Baner Area
Baner, 8th December 2022: The Social Security Department of the crime branch (Pune city police) has uncovered a prostitution racket running under the name of a massage centre in the Baner area of Pune. In this action, three young women have been rescued by the police and a case has been registered against the woman who runs the massage centre.
A case has been registered against massage centre owner Pushpa Keshav Shinde (33), a resident of Ambegaon Pathar, Dhankawadi. Anna Mane, a police officer, has filed a complaint at the Chaturshringi police station.
The crime branch received information that a massage centre called Spandan Spa was running a prostitution business in a building at Ganaraj Chowk on Balewadi-Baner road.
After that, the police confirmed the said information through a fake customer. The police raided the massage centre and rescued three young women. The investigation has revealed that the accused, Pushpa Shinde, lured the women into the prostitution business with money.
Under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner of Police Amol Zende, Senior Police Inspector of Social Security Department Vijay Kumbhar and the team carried out this operation.
