Pune Railway Station Now Has Restroom For Sleeper Class Passengers

Pune, 24th March 2023: A restroom has been opened for sleeper class passengers at Pune railway station. This room has been started on platform number one. Along with this, ramps at the station have also been opened for the disabled.

The relaxation room was inaugurated by Chief Reservation Supervisor Anil Padle, who is retiring this month. On this occasion, Additional Divisional Manager Brijesh Kumar Singh and Station Director Dr Ramdas Bhise were present. Passengers will get the facility of this restroom free of charge.

Ramps near the old footbridge have been opened for disabled passengers at Pune railway station. The facility was inaugurated by Chief Railway Clerk Venkat More, who is retiring this month. This will enable disabled passengers to move from one platform to another with the help of a wheelchair or a battery-powered vehicle.

“If the passengers want to use this ramp, they will have to contact the station deputy manager’s office on platform one,” informed Public Relations Officer Manoj Zanwar.
