Pune: Railways Launch Summer Special Trains And Additional Special Trains From Pune/Mumbai To UP, Bihar
Pune/Mumbai, 21 April 2021: Central Railway has decided to run fully reserved additional special trains and summer special trains on special charges as per details given below –
- Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Gorakhpur Special (One way)
01229 special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 11.10 hrs on Friday 23.4.2021 and arrive in Gorakhpur at 23.00 hrs the next day.
Halts: Kalyan, Nashik Road, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Satna, Banda Jn., Kanpur Central, Lucknow, Gonda, Basti
Composition: Two AC-3 Tier, 5 Sleeper, 14-second class seating
- Pune-Bhagalpur Special
01461 special will leave Pune at 06.10 hrs on Saturday 24.4.2021 (1 trip) and arrive in Bhagalpur at 18.40 hrs the next day.
01462 special will leave Bhagalpur at 22.00 hrs on Sunday 25.4.2021 (1 trip) and arrive in Pune at 11.35 hrs on the third day.
Halts: Daund Chord Line, Ahmednagar, Manmad, Bhusaval, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Satna, Prayagraj Chheoki, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Jn., Sasaram, Gaya, Kiul, Jamalpur
Composition: 7 Sleeper, 11 Second class seating.

01467 special will leave Pune at 09.40 hrs on Saturday 24.4.2021 and arrive Gorakhpur at 18.30 hrs next day.
01468 special will leave Gorakhpur at 21.30 hrs on Sunday 25.4.2021 and arrive in Pune at 06.25 hrs on the third day.
Halts: Daund Chord Line, Ahmednagar, Manmad, Bhusaval, Itarsi, Bhopal, Bina, Jhansi, Kanpur Central, Lucknow, Gonda, Basti
Composition: One AC 2-Tier, Three AC 3-Tier, 13 Sleeper, 5-second class seating
- Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai-Gorakhpur Special (One way)
01231 special will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai at 05.30 hrs on Friday 23.4.2021 and arrive Gorakhpur at 16.45 hrs the next day
Halts: Dadar, Kalyan, Nashik Road, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Satna, Banda Jn., Kanpur Central, Lucknow, Gonda, Basti
Composition: One 2AC, Four 3AC, 8 Sleeper, 7-second seating
Reservation: Bookings for fully reserved additional special and summer special trains 01229, 01461, 01467 & 01231 on special charges will open on 22.4.2021 at all computerised reservation centres on website www.irctc.co.in.
