After the cyclone (Mandous) subsided in the Bay of Bengal, it turned into a low-pressure area. Due to this, there was rain in the southern states of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Kerala. The impact of the low-pressure system has also been witnessed in Maharashtra. This effect is likely to remain for the next two days. There is a chance of rain in the southwestern part of Maharashtra. Sangli, Kolhapur, Pune, districts of South Konkan, and West Maharashtra witnessed light rain on Sunday. Rain is likely in some parts of Vidarbha, including Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Nashik, Pune, Satara, Kolhapur and other districts during the next two days.

The temperature has started rising as cloudy conditions have formed in the state. For two days, the temperature in various parts of the state had dropped to the lowest level. Due to this, there was an increase in rainfall. Mainly in Marathwada, Vidarbha, West Maharashtra and Konkan, the temperature was below average. However, within a few days, the atmosphere changed again. As the night temperature has increased in all parts of the state, except some parts of Konkan, dew has reduced.
