Pune, 20th September 2022: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has prepared a plan intending to win the Baramati Lok Sabha Constituency 2024. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaraman’s three-day visit is for this purpose. Ex-minister Ram Shinde expressed the determination that the lotus will bloom there now.

Shinde was speaking at the press conference organized by the Pune city BJP office in Pune city office yesterday. Party’s state election department head Sunil Karjatakar, former minister Bala Bhegde, district president Ganesh Bhegde, and other office bearers were also present.

Shinde said, “A Lok Sabha constituency like Amethi, which has given so many Prime Ministers to the country, was also captured by the BJP. Baramati Lok Sabha constituency is nothing compared to that. The party has given 144 constituencies to Union Ministers in the last Lok Sabha election. There are 16 of them in the state. Two of them are in the Pune district. Among them, Baramati has been targeted. Last time former minister Harshvardhan Patil was not with us.”

Shinde pointed out that he is with them this time. He also said, “If we had their lakhs of votes, we would have won last time.”

“It is considered Sharad Pawar’s fortress, but we have shown in Amethi that it is not so. He lost in Baramati in 2014 by 68,000 votes. In 2019, we lost by 1.5 lakh votes, but our votes increased by 80,000. Now this time, we have started work before 18 months,” Shinde explained.

Shinde informed that Nirmala Sitharaman’s 21 programs will be held in three days in different assembly constituencies.
