Pune: Rapper Booked For Raping Girl Who Refused His Proposal, Police Hunt For Accused

Hinjewadi, 25 August 2021: A shocking incident has come to light in which a young woman was raped by injecting drugs.

Based on a complaint from the victim, an FIR has been registered against the accused at the Hinjewadi police station. Police said that the accused is absconding.

According to the police, the accused is a rapper and had helped many girls get modelling assignments. The victim got acquainted with him as she is also interested in modeling. He took her number and started sending her messages. A few days later, he proposed to the victim out of one-sided love. However, the young woman refused. This hurt him, the girl stated in her complaint.

As per her statement, the accused had reached her house on September 25, 2020, and asked her to come with him. Even then, she had refused. She was at home with her 11-year-old brother. Her mother was out for dishwashing work, while her father, who is an autorickshaw driver, was also out of the home.

Taking advantage of this, he grabbed her younger brother’s hand and went out of the house, threatening to harm him. A helpless victim sat in the car with her brother. The accused took them to his house and later informed her parents. He told them that he will marry the girl and allowed them to take back her brother. However, he did not marry her. Sameer’s mother and he were living in the same house. He had introduced the victim to his mother as his wife. The accused’s mother lived mostly out of the house.

As soon as his mother went out, he used to torture the victim. He used to lock her while going out.

It is also mentioned in the complaint that she was injected with drugs while she was sleeping. It all started on July 17, 2021. Meanwhile, one day, while Sameer was talking on the phone, the victim ran out of the house. She reached her father’s house.

However, after some time, Sameer came to the house of the girl, beat her up and took her back. A few days later she again managed to escape. The victim came to her parents and they all went to her cousin’s place. Meanwhile, the accused sent her nude photo and video on Instagram. He also sent them to her father’s WhatsApp number. As a result, the victim’s family were in a dilemma whether to approach the police or not.

Eventually, they decided to lodge a complaint against the accused at Hinjewadi police station. Woman Police Sub Inspector Borkar is further investigating the case.
