Pune: Residents Of Kharadi Unite Against Unauthorized Builders Encroaching Exhibition Ground
Kharadi, 8th July 2023: Today, the residents of Kharadi came together to express their concerns and oppose the unauthorized builder activities occurring at the Exhibition Ground in Kharadi, Pune.
“This public space holds great significance and has been designated for the use of the general public according to the PMC Development plan. Unfortunately, instead of serving its intended purpose, the ground has recently been encroached upon, endangering its existence”, said Surendra Pathare, a local BJP leader.
He added, “With a unified voice, we conveyed a powerful message to those in positions of authority, emphasizing the need to preserve this land for its intended purpose. This protest highlighted our unwavering dedication to safeguarding the future of public spaces, ensuring that forthcoming generations can create treasured memories and nurture strong community bonds.”
