Pune: Rickshaw Driver Killed In Janata Vasahat; Case Registered Against Three
Pune, 8th October 2022: An autorickshaw driver was stabbed to death with a sharp weapon in the Janata Vasahat area. In this case, the police registered a case against the rickshaw driver and his accomplices. The name of the deceased rickshaw driver is Akshay Hanumant Rawde (26), a resident of Raikarnagar, Vadgaon Dhayari.
A case has been registered against the three in this case. In this regard, Akshay’s brother Kiran (27) has filed a complaint at the Dattawadi police station. Akshay is a rickshaw driver.
In the middle of the night, Akshay argued with the three in the Swargate area. Akshay was then taken by three people to the Janata Vasahat area and was stabbed to death with a sharp weapon on Canal road.
The police received the information that Akshay was found dead in a bush on Canal road on Saturday (October 8) morning. A case has been registered against a rickshaw driver and three accomplices in the case of Akshay’s murder.
Akshay argued with the trio at midnight in the Swargate area. On investigation, the police received information that Akshay and the accused were drinking alcohol. Assistant Police Inspector Yuvraj Patil is investigating the matter further.
