Pune: Rotary Club of Chinchwad Continues 28-Year Tradition of Participating in Wari Pilgrimage
Chinchwad, 18th June 2023: The Rotary Club of Chinchwad continued its long-standing tradition of participating in the annual Wari pilgrimage. This year marked the 28th consecutive year of their involvement. The club joined the Palkhi procession, specifically Dindi No. 56, which covered the distance from Uruli Kanchan to Theur Phata.
During the event, the Rotary Club of Chinchwad extended its support by sponsoring food for the participants of Dindi No. 56 and also made a generous donation to assist them on their journey.
Among the Rotarians present at the event were Yatish Bhatt, Sanjay Khanolkar, Ganesh Kudale, Kishor Gujar, Prasad Ganpule, Sunil Garud, and Godse from RC Chinchwad.
