Pune: Rs 169.15 Crore Sanctioned For Construction Of Six-Lane Flyover At Katraj Chowk

Katraj, 5th April 2021: The central government has sanctioned Rs 169.15 crore for the construction of a six-lane lane flyover at Katraj Chowk. MP Supriya Sule thanked Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari for this and said that if the flyover is built, the traffic congestion here will be eased and outside traffic will go straight towards their destination.

The funds have been sanctioned for the construction of 6 lane flyover at Katraj on National Highway No. 548-D Vadgaon-Katraj-Kondhwa-Mantarwadi Chowk-Loni Kalbhor-Theur Fata to Lonikand Road.

MP Supriya Sule was following up with the Union Ministry for the construction of the bridge and widening the road from Vadgaon to Katraj and from Katraj to Kondhwa.
Apart from meeting Nitin Gadkari several times, she had also raised this issue in the budget session in Parliament. It has achieved the expected success and soon the way has been cleared to build a six-lane flyover at Katraj Chowk.
Along with the flyover at Katraj, the Center has also sanctioned Rs 10.37 crore for the repair of National Highway No. 965G Patas-Baramati-Indapur-Akluj-Sangola-Jat passing through Baramati Lok Sabha constituency.
