Pune, 8th May 2024: There has been confusion among candidates regarding whether the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) Main Exam 2025 will be conducted in descriptive mode or not. Finally, MPSC has clarified that it will implement the Written Pattern of the Main Exam from 2025 onwards.

This clarification has been made through RTI, and students should commence preparing for the written pattern without giving thought to any rumours. However, MPSC is experiencing delays in releasing exam results, and the exam schedule is not being adhered to.

Therefore, there is a lesser possibility of the Written Pattern for the 2025 MPSC Main Exam being applied on time. The time limit for implementing this pattern may be extended. Such discussions have arisen within the realm of competitive examinations.

This situation has confused students who are preparing for the MPSC exam. Consequently, a student sought clarification from the MPSC through the Right to Information Act of 2005. MPSC has provided the necessary information, effectively dispelling the confusion among students.

The affidavit submitted by MPSC emphasizes the issue of implementing written examinations from 2025. According to the affidavit, MPSC has decided to implement this change in 2025, taking into account considerations of law and order, as well as the time required for students to prepare. The MPSC Exam 2024 will be the final exam conducted in objective multiple-choice mode.
