Pune RTO To E-Auction Confiscated Vehicles On March 12

Pune, March 5, 2021: A public auction of 43 vehicles seized for offences under the Motor Vehicle Tax and Motor Vehicle Act will be held on March 12. Earlier the e-auction was to be done on February 26 but it was cancelled as there were not more than one bidder for each lot. Minimum three bidders are required.

The 43 vehicles are available for inspection at Wagheshwar Parking, Wagholi, Pune. The vehicles include tourist taxis, trucks and buses. Vehicle owners should note that there will be an opportunity to pay vehicle tax until the auction date, RTO stated in a press release.

The list of vehicles to be auctioned has been made available on the notice boards of the Regional Transport Office, Pune as well as on the website www.eauction.gov.in for the information of the public. Those willing to participate will have to pay the security deposit at the rate of Rs 25,000 per lot on the website www.eauction.gov.in or at the Regional Transport Office (draft in the name of R.T.O. PUNE) from March 8 to 9 from 11 am to 5 pm. Only GST holders can participate in the e-auction. The concerned persons should contact the office for detailed information.

Terms and conditions of e-auction will be available from March 8 on office working days at Regional Transport Office, Pune as well as on the website www.eauction.gov.in.
