Pune: Rubicon Foundation, Barclays Distribute Ration To Migrant Workers
Kharadi, 23 May 2021: NGO Rubicon Foundation and Barclays are reaching out to support the vulnerable communities affected by COVID 19.
Among the lot, several Indian migrant workers faced hordes of hardships due to factories and workplaces being still shut, millions of migrant workers suffered from loss of income, food shortages with an uncertainty of a secured future.
Hence, witnessing the tolerate and sufferings, Barclays and Rubicon Foundation undertook the resolution to organize this initiative, helping thousands of migrant workers and several other underprivileged communities of our society to fight against the challenges of Covid-19 by collocating a “Ration Distribution” drive across the country.
On Friday, 22nd May 2021, Barclays along with Rubicon Foundation organized this project at Panchshil Tower, Kharadi, Pune. Volunteers distributed dry Ration Kits to 100+ migrant workers as well as to various vulnerable communities affected by Covid-19.
