Pune: Running Car Catches Fire In Chinchwad, Nobody Injured
Chinchwad, 8 September 2023: An Omni car in motion experienced a fire incident in Sambhajinagar, Chinchwad, around 9:30 AM today. The driver managed to leap out of the vehicle, preventing a potentially catastrophic accident. Unfortunately, the fire resulted in the destruction of laptops and other items within the car.
The vehicle was travelling from Thermax Chowk to KSB Chowk when this incident occurred. The car erupted in flames in the vicinity of Novel International School in Sambhajinagar. The driver promptly exited the vehicle to ensure his safety. The blazing engine emitted a thick plume of smoke, which billowed into the surrounding area, leading to a significantly smoky atmosphere.
Onlookers gathered in large numbers to witness the incident. By the time fire brigade team arrived at the scene, the vehicle had already been engulfed by the fire. Fortunately, when the car caught fire, the driver swiftly exited, avoiding any harm.
