Pune Rural Police Take Midnight Action Against Two Bars in Maval Taluka
Maval, 11th January 2025: Action has been taken against two orchestra bars in Pune District’s Maval Taluka. The operation was conducted yesterday at midnight by the Kamshet Police Station of Pune Rural Police, under the leadership of Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Satyasai Karthik. The bars were found operating beyond permitted time limits, violating several rules.
The action was taken against Deepa Bar & Restaurant in Kamshet and Flavours Bar and Restaurant in Vadgaon Maval. These establishments were involved in serving food and liquor to customers past the permitted hours, along with continuing the orchestra. Cases have been registered against them at Kamshet and Vadgaon Maval Police Stations, and further investigation is ongoing.
This is not the first time action has been taken against these bars; last year, similar measures were enforced for operating beyond permissible hours.
The operation was carried out under the guidance of Pune Rural Superintendent of Police Pankaj Deshmukh, Additional Superintendent of Police Ramesh Chopade, and ASP of Lonavala Division, Satyasai Karthik, along with his team.
