Pune: Sairung Developers ED Nandini Kondhalkar Arrested In Plot Sale Fraud Case
Hinjawadi, 12th August 2022: Pimpri Chinchwad Police have arrested Nandini Kondhalkar, Executive Director of Sairung Developers for allegedly duping senior citizens of crores of rupees under the pretext of selling plots in a village in Mulshi Taluka of Pune district, Maharashtra. A judicial magistrate court remanded her to police custody till August 16.
Santosh Vasudev Natekar, a senior citizen, has registered an FIR with Hinjawadi police station against Managing Director KR Malik and Executive Director Nandini Kondhalkar of Sairung Developers.
According to police, in 2012 the builders had given an advertisement about the plots. Natekar purchased 5,000 sq.ft.plot in Rihe village for around Rs 13 lakh. Along with him, Prasad Pandakar, Rahul Navale, Uday Bakshi, Varsha Bakshi, Kshitija Bakshi, Atul Godse, Snehalata Bhagwat, Archana Vilas Patil had also bought the plots. They had paid Rs 1.85 crore for the land. However, Sairung Developers did not give them plots.
In 2019, Sairung Developers agreed before the court for a refund but still hasn’t paid up as per the schedule. Therefore, the investors met the Pimpri Chinchwad police commissioner following which the FIR was registered.
