Pune: Amrit Sangam Conclave At INS Shivaji
Lonavala, 12th August 2022: INS Shivaji, the premier technical training institute of the Indian Navy and the cradle of all marine engineers exuberantly participated in the glorious celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
A leadership conclave called Amrit Sangam was organised with the aim to serve as a crucible for amalgamation of ideas, and paving way for ‘Vision for India@100’. The two-day event started on 09th Aug 22 with a mesmerising performance on the martial tunes by the Naval band.
As part of the conclave, guest speakers from different walks of life enlightened the audience by sharing their invaluable experiences and anecdotes. Amongst the notable guest speakers, were Shri AS Kiran Kumar, ex Chairman of ISRO, Dr. B. Sandhya,(IPS), DGP Kerala Fire and Rescue Services, Shri Anurag Sharma, IPS (Retd), ex DGP of Telangana, Maj AK Raveendran, SM (Retd) former NSG commando, Mr Dinesh Sahara, industrialist and philanthropist; Dr. Sandip Soparrkar, renowned choreographer, Mr Dalip Tahil, noted film and theatre actor, Ms Kaamya Karthikeyan, Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar awardee and child prodigy; Mr Pranay Gupta, motivational speaker and Dr. Sushmita Mitra, Chair Professor, Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. Vice Admiral Puneet Kumar Bahl, Commandant Indian Naval Academy, presided over the Conclave as the Chief Guest.
