Pune: School Bus Inspection Reveals Alarming Lack Of Licenses For 82 Vehicles

Pune, 11th September 2023: To ensure the safety of school students during their daily commute, the Regional Transport Office (RTO) conducted a comprehensive school bus inspection campaign today. A total of 82 vehicles were scrutinized during this operation, and alarming findings emerged, as none of these vehicles possessed the necessary school bus license.

Eight teams comprising Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspectors, Motor Vehicle Inspectors, and Assistant Regional Transport Officers, including Yuvraj Patil and Amar Desai, actively participated in the inspection campaign. Their rigorous efforts unveiled the alarming fact that a significant number of vehicles were transporting school students without the essential school bus license.

In light of this concerning discovery, the Regional Transport Office has urged all parents to prioritize the safety of their children during their commute to school. Parents are requested to ensure that the vehicles used for transporting their children possess a valid school bus license. This precautionary measure will help guarantee the well-being and security of the young students during their daily journey to school.
