Pune: Selection Test for Khelo India Shooting Sports Training on Thursday at Balewadi
Balewadi, 23rd September 2025: A selection test for admission to residential training in shooting sports under the Khelo India State Centre of Excellence will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Shri Shiv Chhatrapati Krida Sankul, Balewadi.
Deputy Director of Sports and Youth Services, Yuvraj Naik, has appealed to eligible players to be present at the venue by 9 am. The selection process will be conducted by an expert committee, and admissions will be granted strictly on merit.
Only players who have demonstrated proficiency in shooting at the state level or have participated at the national level will be considered. Standards for assessing quality players have already been set. Interested candidates must email their applications to [email protected] by 12 noon on September 24, 2025.
For the test, players must carry original and photocopies of their state and national sports proficiency certificates, Aadhaar card, birth certificate, educational documents, and a copy of the school’s general register with their date of birth. Only players born after January 1, 2005, are eligible.
Participants will need to make their own arrangements for accommodation and food during the selection process. However, facilities will be provided after admission.
