Pune: Seven Old Polling Booths in Shivajinagar Relocated Ahead of Maharashtra Elections

Shivajinagar, 11th November 2024: In the Shivajinagar constituency for the upcoming Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Elections, seven old polling booths have been relocated. Assistant Election Returning Officer Dadasaheb Gite has urged voters to take note of the changes and vote at the new polling stations.

The voting center at Spicer Higher Secondary School in Aundh, which previously hosted the polling station for list no. 74, has been moved to Rohan Nilay 1 Cooperative Housing Society Limited. The voting center at Swami Vivekananda School, located at the gate of Savitribai Phule Pune University, which previously hosted the polling station for list no. 134, has been relocated to 10 Kasturkanj in Bhosale Nagar. The voting center at Pune Railway Police Headquarters in Khadki, which previously had the polling station for list no. 76, has been relocated to the Mont Vert Pristine complex in Bopodi.

The two voting centers at Symbiosis International Education Centre on Senapati Bapat Road (SB Road), which had polling stations for list no. 252 and 253, have been moved to Kapila Housing Society in Gokhale Nagar. The voting center at Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) Arogya Kothi in Shivajinagar, which previously hosted the polling station for list no. 46, has been relocated to Pune Railway Police Headquarters in Khadki.

Additionally, the temporary voting centers for list numbers 162 and 163, which were previously located in a tin shed at St. Francis High School in Narveer Tanaji Wadi, have been moved to Government Polytechnic on Ghole Road.
