Pune: Sex Racket Busted at Kharadi Spa Center, Two Booked, Six Women Rescued
Kharadi, 25th April 2025: A sex racket operating under the guise of a massage center was busted by Kharadi Police on the Kharadi-Mundhwa Road. Two individuals have been booked in connection with the case, while six women were rescued during the raid.
The operation took place at the Silver Soul Spa Beauty and Wellness center located in the Gold Plaza building in Thite Nagar, Kharadi. Acting on a tip-off, Senior Police Inspector Sanjay Chavan deployed a decoy customer to confirm the presence of illicit activities. Following verification, the police conducted a raid at the premises.
The two accused have been identified as Lenkhokai Kipgen, a resident of Manipur, and Vikas Kishor Dhale from Amravati. Kipgen, who was managing the spa, has been arrested and remanded to five days of police custody by the court. Dhale is currently absconding, and police efforts are underway to locate him.
Among the six women rescued were three from Thailand, one each from Manipur and Nagaland, and one from Pune. They have been placed in a rehabilitation facility.
A complaint in the matter was registered by Woman Police Constable Pooja Dahale. The raid was conducted by a team comprising Sub-Inspector Rahul Kolpe, along with constables Navnath Walke, Surendra Sable, Arjun Budhavant, Amol Bhise, Sachin Patil, Akshay Garde, Suraj Jadhav, Jaywant Shrirame, and women constables Jyoti Memane, Pooja Dahale, and Archana Gophane.
