Pune: Sharad Pawar to Be Discharged from After Recovery, Doctors Advise Rest
Pune, 14th February 2026: Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Pawar faction) president Sharad Pawar will be discharged from Ruby Hall Clinic today after recovering well, hospital authorities said in an official update.
Dr. Purvez Grant, Chief Cardiologist, Chairman and Managing Trustee of Ruby Hall Clinic, said Pawar is in good health and has responded well to treatment. The medical team has advised him to take adequate rest for a few days before gradually resuming his routine work and public engagements. The hospital also extended its best wishes for his continued well-being.
Pawar had been admitted to the hospital around 4 pm on Monday for a preliminary check-up.
Dr. Abhijeet Lodha, who is overseeing his treatment, had earlier informed the media that Pawar’s condition was stable following the initial medical examination. According to doctors, his heart rate and oxygen levels were normal, though his respiratory rate was slightly elevated.
