Pune: Siddhi Kapshikar from Pimpri-Chinchwad Sets Guinness World Record for Longest Continuous Harmonium Performance

Pimpri Chinchwad, 1st March 2025: Siddhi Kapshikar, a talented musician from Pimpri Chinchwad, has secured a place in the Guinness World Records by playing the harmonium continuously for 10 hours, 23 minutes, and 22 seconds on 2nd February 2025 (Vasant Panchami). During her record-breaking performance, Siddhi showcased 75+ ragas from Indian classical music across 25 different genres.
This remarkable achievement not only brought honor to her family but also paid tribute to her gurus, Indian classical music, the harmonium, and the nation. Siddhi’s success is attributed to her hard work, divine grace, her guru’s blessings, and well-wishers’ support.
Maval MP Shrirang Barne from Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena congratulated Siddhi, expressing pride in Pimpri Chinchwad’s achievement. The family expressed gratitude for the support received during this momentous accomplishment.
