Pune-‘Six Inches Are Enough On Heels….Not In Bed’ secured 3rd place in Lit Digital Awards 2021

Pune, 28 July 2021: Mehak Budhrani Kukreja launched her first novel ‘Six Inches Are Enough On Heels…. Not In Bed’ in 2014. The novel was launched by Sandip Soparrkar. The book was nominated for the Lit Digital Awards 2021.

The novel is based on friendship and relationships. The protagonist Mia, goes to a person for relationship advice. After her first heartbreak, Mia wants to put a band-aid on every broken relationship. The sexual and romantic encounters of the group of best friends, Mia, Kimaya, Neha, Mrinal, and Uday is the base storyline of the book.

The Lit Digital Awards 2021 were announced on 27 July 2021. The book made it to the shortlisted top ten and was awarded 3rd place. The winners will all receive a cash prize.

The Lit digital awards were held online. The nominations started in march and the winners were announced in July.

The Lit digital awards are held by the Literary Mirror group. It is held to celebrate the work of writers and appreciate their writing. There is a process for evaluating the books.

There were jury members Bhumika Ambwani, Ankit Jhamb, Anuradha Bhattacharyya, and Shirish Srivastava who evaluated all the nominated works. 14 out of 20 spots were grabbed by females.

Mehak Budhrani Kukreja made it in 3rd place.
