Pune: Solving Traffic Congestion Problem In Dhanori-Lohegaon Area Is My Priority – MLA Sunil Tingre
Lohegaon, 21st June 2021: MLA Sunil Tingre on Sunday performed ‘Bhoomi Poojan’ of a road that will be constructed between Jakat Naka to Nyati Evita society on DP Road in ward no. 1 at Dhanori. Also, a flyover will be constructed near Dr Mar Theophilus School, Porwal Road.
Speaking on this occasion MLA Tingre said that the development of this road will help in getting rid of traffic congestion on Porwal road. Priority is being given to solve traffic congestion in the Dhanori-Lohegaon area.
He added that difficulties are being taken care of for the development of pending roads in the area. When it comes to development work, all of the people’s representatives are working together forgetting the difference between the political parties.

He also said that efforts are underway to get water from the Bhama-Askhed scheme for the Lohegaon area. “This area is developing rapidly; hence, we are working together with all-party representatives to provide all the civic amenities here,” said Tingre.
“The road has been pursued for many years and it has reached the final stage. Ample provision has been made available for this through Pune Municipal Corporation,” quoted corporator Anil (Bobby) Tingre.
Corporator Aishwarya Jadhav, Santosh Khandwa, and chairmen and residents of Regency Meadows, Global Meadows, Ameya Lotus, B U Bhandari, Nyati Evita, Pride Aashiyana, Unit Prospers and other societies were present on the occasion.
