Pune: Soon Get Details Of Land With QR Code On 7/12 Extract
Pune, 8th July 2022: After bringing uniformity in Satbara Utara (7/12 land extract) in Maharashtra state, soon details about the land will be available through a QR code on every 7/12 land extract.
For this, a proposal has been sent for approval by the Land Records Department to the State Government to print QR codes on more than two and a half crore copies. As soon as one will scan this QR code, they will get the information about the changes in the survey number, land map, exact location of the land, latitude-longitude, etc.
“Under the National Land Records Modernization Programme (NLRMP), Satbara Utaras, maps, alterations, etc. are being computerized. Modern technology will be used to measure the land accurately. The coordination of each survey number will be determined during this calculation. Once it is confirmed, the QR code will be printed on the Satbara Utara. After scanning it, the land owner will have the complete information about their land in a moment. For this, it is necessary to get approval from the State Government on where to print the QR code on Satbara Utara. Hence, the Land Records Department has sent a proposal to the State Government in this regard,” informed Niranjan Sudhanshu, Settlement Commissioner.
