Pune: SSC Board Website Crashes, Curious Students Had To Wait For Over Five Hours To See The Result

Pune, July 16, 2021: Secondary School Certificate (SSC) which was declared today had many novelties. Starting from 99.95% overall percentage, the students had to wait for over five hours to view their results.

Sharvari Mudganti said, “I tried for hundred times to log on to the website, but every time it was showing that the site cannot be loaded. All my friends and relatives were trying to log on to the website, but no luck. Finally, at 6 pm I was able to view the result”.  Sharvari got 78.2% marks.

Many parents have been trying to log on to the website, but till 11 pm in the night the parents were unable to view the result.

“I have been trying for the whole day, yet unable to view it. We were so excited to see the results but unfortunately, we haven’t been able to see it”, said Priya Kharul from Pimpri.

Meanwhile, Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education chairman Dinkar Patil said, “there was a technical glitch due to which the website crashed. We have worked on it on the war footage. There was load on the server. We have diverted the traffic to other sites. Till now only 60,000 students were able to see”.

Patil said that as the students download the results, the load will reduce. He added, “now the students can view it on the main website and other two websites, the link of which is given there”.

Parents and teachers unhappy with the results. Many parents have shown their displeasure over the result. “I had very high hopes from my child since throughout he has been an outstanding student. But the evaluation done by the school is not fair”, alleged Priyadarshan K, a parent.

One of the teachers from reputed city school said, “We have had 100 percent result and all our students have done well in the examination. Nearly, 85% of our students have got over 90% of marks while there are no students who have received less than 60% of marks”.

The experts from the education field refused to comment on the result.
This year, the examination which was scheduled between April 29, 2021 to May 20, 2021 was cancelled owing to the second wave of Covid-19 in the State.
