Pune: Stop Hawkers From Entering Society; Police Appeals To Report If Any Suspicious Person Found
Junnar, 20th May 2023: A meeting was held by the Alephata police at Saubhadra hall with the society president, Vice President along with the other members of resident societies, bungalow owners, and all other important villagers from Alephata Vadgaon Anand, Alegaon and other important villages within the police station area. The said meeting was held to discuss the ways to come up with solutions to theft cases.
It is directed that the entire society or residential building should be fenced with a secure wall compound and barbed wire. An appointment be made at a security agency for a security guard and their character verification should be done from the police station, CCTV cameras should be installed at the entry and exit of the society. It is also advised to install proper lighting in and around the societal area.
The security guard should let the people coming and going to the residential society inside the gate only after asking the visitor pertinent questions, the president of the society should keep complete information about the name and addresses of the workers/helpers who are coming to work in the society or the bungalow and also verify their character.
The entry of hawkers and unknown people into the society should be restricted and the people in the organization should be monitored through proper security. If any suspicious person is seen, one should contact the Alephata Police Station immediately. Also, police inspector Yashwant Nalavde urged people to keep the valuable jewellery and cash in safely.
