Pune Students Secure All India Rank 1, 2 and 3 in I Qube Olympiad
Pune, 28th August 2026: Three students from Pune have secured the top three positions at the national level in the I Qube® Olympiad, with Arjun Gupta, Sanket Rajak and Varad Prashant Kothawade achieving All India Rank 1, 2 and 3, respectively.
Arjun Gupta of EuroSchool, Kharadi, secured All India Rank 1 and was awarded a laptop. Sanket Rajak of City Pride School, Moshi, secured All India Rank 2 and received a tablet, while Varad Prashant Kothawade of City Pride School, Nigdi, secured All India Rank 3 and was also awarded a tablet.
The I Qube® Olympiad attracts participation from students across India and evaluates a wide range of intellectual and cognitive abilities. These include quantitative analysis, problem-solving, logical reasoning, visual reasoning, analytical reasoning, abstract reasoning, verbal and non-verbal reasoning, spatial interpretation, linguistics, social intelligence and memory.
The top-three national rankings highlight the students’ analytical abilities, critical thinking, cognitive skills and problem-solving capabilities. Their performance also reflects the support of their parents and the guidance and mentorship provided by their teachers and schools.
As part of their recognition, the three students have also been designated as I Qube® School Ambassadors for the academic year 2025–26 from their respective schools. The initiative is aimed at encouraging fellow students to develop reasoning, analytical and critical-thinking skills.
The achievement was celebrated by the principals, directors and faculty members of EuroSchool, Kharadi, City Pride School, Moshi, and City Pride School, Nigdi.
According to I Qube®, more than 1 lakh students from over 300 schools across India have appeared for the Olympiad to date. More than 15,000 meritorious students have also been recognised through monetary scholarships, with cheques worth over ₹50 lakh awarded so far.
Conducted annually through partner schools, the I Qube® Olympiad provides students with an opportunity to benchmark their intellectual abilities while encouraging critical thinking, reasoning, analytical skills and problem-solving.
The success of Gupta, Rajak and Kothawade marks a significant achievement for Pune’s school students at the national level.
