Pune: Submit Details Of Effluent Generated By Company In PCMC Before August 30 Or Face Action
Pune 18th August 2023: The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation has started working towards reducing water pollution due to release of industrial waste into river. In order to solve the problem, the industrial units have been asked to submit details about industrial effluent and sewage water generated during their operations.
The industrial units have been appealed to submit details in the given format to the executive engineer at MIDC office in Chinchwad before August 30. A meeting in this regard was organised on August 9 in presence of Minister Uday Samant. A committee has formed to work on this issue.
The meeting was attended by the members of MIDC, PMRDA, MPCB, MCCIA, MSME Company’s Association and Local NGOs. A detailed presentation was given to the minister during the meeting.
The civic body has also warned the industrial units of action if they do not co-operate by submitting details of liquid waste or waste water before the given date.
