Pune: Submit Your Caste Verification Documents As Heavy Rains Damaged Records In Office

Pune, 20th October 2021: Due to torrential rains, the verification materials, other records, computers, etc. in the office of the District Caste Certificate Verification Committee have been damaged.

People who have submitted their verification proposals are requested to be present with a photocopy of the documents submitted along with the receipt, the department has appealed.

A sudden torrential rain on the evening of October 9 in the Yerwada area caused the protective wall of the jail at the back of the committee office to collapse causing the rainwater to seep into the caste verification office. Due to the rainwater remaining in the office overnight, the caste certificate verification and other records, computers and other materials kept on the ground in the committee office have been damaged.

Visitors coming to the committee office for verification of caste certificate should be present with the receipt of the proposal and a photocopy of the documents submitted with it, informed the office of the District Caste Certificate Verification Committee.
