Pune: Supriya Sule, Dr Amol Kolhe, and Ravindra Dhangekar are to Submit Nominations on April 18

Pune, 17th April 2024: Mahavikas Aghadi candidates from Baramati, Shirur, and Pune constituencies are set to file their nomination papers on Thursday, April 18. Supriya Sule from Baramati, Dr Amol Kolhe from Shirur, and Ravindra Dhangekar from Pune will submit their papers at the collector’s office at 10:30 AM.

A meeting and show of strength will be held in the presence of senior leader Sharad Pawar and other key figures like state president Jayant Patil, MP Sanjay Raut of the Thackeray group, Congress leader Balasaheb Thorat, and state president of the Aam Aadmi Party Ajit Phatke. The meeting will take place in front of Hotel Shantai at Rasta Peth.

This day marks a significant moment for Mahavikas Aghadi’s Lok Sabha election campaign, which includes the upcoming Baramati election on May 7, and the Pune and Shirur elections on May 13. Campaigning has been ongoing in the three constituencies, with the pace set to increase due to the leadership presence and ensuing public meetings.

In response to the Mahavikas Aghadi’s activities, Mahayuti’s candidate from Pune, Muralidhar Mohol, is scheduled to file his nomination papers on Tuesday, April 23, which has prompted the grand alliance to begin planning their campaign strategies. Additionally, Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi candidate Vasant More is actively campaigning in the Kothrud constituency.
